Overview

One of Business & Decision's core competencies is providing world-class Hosting and Managed Services to our clients. Since inception, B&D's approach to Managed Service environments has been distinguished in that it provides:

  • Specialized outsourcing plans built on a consistent framework and methodology for providing comprehensive proactive and reactive maintenance and support to enterprise or mission critical systems, databases, and applications.
  • Consistent, named primary and secondary support personnel under the direction of a Service Delivery Manager (Service Delivery Team) further backed by our entire support division. Not only does this eliminate the learning curve but it also promotes ownership and responsibility of the Service Delivery Team to implement solutions and resolve issues in a quality manner. B&D's delivery model has been engineered to provide the highest level of service, in stark contrast to a commodity approach where random on call or shift personnel from a black-box pool of resources cannot provide, nor are designed to provide, a similar level of service or quality. All delivery staff are also trained in both B&D's SOPs and the GxP regulations required to support Life Science customers.
  • Field-experienced consultants as members of the customer's Service Delivery Team. Business & Decision's success is built on the strengths and expertise of our people. We employ experienced consulting professionals, steeped in best practiced methodologies, who have not only played roles in numerous implementations but also provide long term support engagements.
  • An extension of a customer's IT and business operations. The Service Delivery Team works with customer IT and business operations staff as virtual members of their team.
  • End-to-end solutions within one organization avoiding finger pointing, miscommunication, inefficiency etc. In addition to outsourcing services, B&D can also leverage our non-support resources (implementation teams, for example) on an ongoing or future project basis for troubleshooting, add-ons, upgrades, etc.
