Until now, the finance team was supporting Country Operations Directors and Regional Business Directors in running the commercial activities of the company, collecting sales data and  analyzing margins. In order to provide operations managers with open, user-friendly and improved performance reporting, and to allow the finance teams to spend more time conducting business analysese, Sinclair IS decided to move to a comprehensive Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solution.

This new tool includes planning and reporting activities and enables Sinclair IS's teams to build budgets and analyze underlying performance. From now on, sales can be analyzed by product, area, customer, distribution channel, currencies and several other criteria, quickly and clearly. Some automatic dashboards have been designed to allow tight control of management entities through customized key performance indicators. Top management, commercial and finance teams and other departments make use of the system, including Investor Relations & Communications which uses it to distribute annual and interim financial statements.

Business & Decision is now working on a satellite project to implement financial reporting for marketing and communications activity.
